The Astryke Slot Machine is a free embeddable slot machine widget. Three reels, five paylines, ten symbols, five preset themes, sixty-five emoji to customize with. Plays on phone and desktop. Customization in detail
Theme presets. Five themes: Cosmic (space + retro slot), Classic (cherries, lemons, sevens, money bag), Fantasy (sword, crown, dragon, crystal ball), Food (pizza, cake, donut, strawberry), Animals (wolf, fox, lion, unicorn, dragon). Each is a ten-emoji ordering paired with the existing multiplier table. The expensive positions (5, 30, 50) get the visually rare or rewarding emoji per theme.
Per-slot emoji picker. Click any of the ten reel positions in the SYMBOLS row to open the picker. Sixty-five curated emoji organized by category: space and sky, gems and wealth, classic slot, fantasy, animals, food, abstract symbols. Hand-picked so every option renders legibly on a slot reel at canvas scale.
URL params. Customization persists via URL query parameters in the embed iframe src. Examples: ?theme=fantasy switches to the Fantasy preset; ?sym0=⭐&sym1=💎 overrides specific slots; both combine. The Copy Embed Code button generates the right URL automatically. URL params survive page refresh, work in iframes, and require no cookies or localStorage.
Multiplier table stays fixed. Slot positions 0 through 9 always have multipliers 5, 20, 5, 5, 5, 5, 30, 5, 5, 50. Three-of-a-kind on a payline pays that multiplier; two-of-a-kind pays 2x. This keeps the game economy consistent across themes so players who see multiple Astryke slot embeds on different sites learn the pay structure once.

Is the slot machine widget free to use commercially?
Yes. Use it in client work, in a paid game, in monetized blog posts, in a product demo. No attribution required. The watermark at the bottom right links back to Astryke regardless, which is how the project funds future widgets.
Will visitors to my embedded widget be tracked by Astryke?
No. The iframe-embedded version does not load Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or any third-party tracking. Visitors to astryke.com itself are measured, but visitors who only interact with embedded widgets on your site are not.
Does this work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The canvas scales responsively, touch is supported without delay, and the controls are tappable on phone screens.
Will my customization persist if visitors refresh the page?
Yes, because customization lives in the iframe URL. Every refresh sees the same symbols and theme. No cookies, no localStorage.
Can I edit the source code of the downloaded HTML file?
Yes. The standalone HTML is plain readable JavaScript. Open it in a text editor, change colors, adjust the payout table, swap fonts, do whatever you want. No build step required.
Will this slow down my page?
No noticeable impact. The iframe lazy-loads (loading=lazy), the standalone is 19 KB, and there are no third-party scripts. Lighthouse scores stay clean.
Can I run multiple slot machines on the same page?
Yes. Each iframe is independent. Customize each one differently via the URL params if you want.
Does the slot machine require a backend or server?
No. Everything runs client-side. The astryke.com hosted version is a static export. The downloaded standalone HTML works on any web server, on file:// directly from your desktop, or inside an Electron/Tauri shell.
What browsers are supported?
All modern browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android. The widget uses Canvas 2D, Web Audio, and standard ES2018 JavaScript.
Why slot machine and not other widgets?
Slot Machine is the first Spark in a series. Wheel of Names, Dice Roller, Plinko Board, and Sound Board are planned. Same free, embeddable, mobile-friendly, no-ads pattern.
