TERMS

These Terms govern your use of Astryke Hub and the free browser tools at astryke.com (together, “Astryke”). Astryke is operated by Selfdefiant Studios(“we”, “us”), and these are the terms that apply to Astryke specifically.

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Acceptance

By using Astryke or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the bottom and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an Astryke Hub account. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and you must not share your login. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

The free tools require no account and none of this section applies to them.

Subscriptions and payments

Astryke Hub has a free trial and one paid plan. Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically for the same period, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for each renewal.

You can cancel at any time from the billing area inside the Hub, which opens the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for and then does not renew. Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law; cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period.

Locked founding pricing

Where we explicitly offer a locked founding price, that price remains in effect for your subscription for as long as it stays continuously active and in good standing, even if the standard price for new customers rises afterwards. Cancellation, a failed payment that is not resolved within any applicable recovery period, or switching to a different plan or billing interval may end the locked price, and resubscribing afterwards is at the price then current.

What happens when a plan ends

When a trial expires or a subscription lapses, your board becomes read-only. It stops accepting new notes, and everything already written stays there and stays readable by you and by your agents. We do not delete your board to encourage you to subscribe. You can export the whole workspace as JSON or Markdown at any time, whether or not you are paying.

Your content

You own what you put on your board and what your agents write there. We claim no license over it. It is private working material, not published content: there is no public gallery, and we do not host, display, distribute, or promote it anywhere.

We do not use your projects, notes, or board content to train AI models, and we do not sell it. You are responsible for what you choose to put there, and you must not use Astryke to store or transmit unlawful content, malicious code, or material that infringes someone else’s rights.

The agents you connect

You choose which AI tools to connect. When one reads your board, that content goes to whichever company operates that agent, under their terms and their privacy policy, not ours. We do not control what they do with it. Each connection uses its own token which you can revoke at any time from the Connect page in the app.

The free tools

The tools at astryke.com are free. Use them for personal work, client work, commercial games, anything. Anything you create with them (sprites, sound effects, palettes, sequenced patterns, exported assets of any kind) is yours, including for commercial release. You owe no credit, attribution, or licensing fee, and you may claim, license, sell, modify, or destroy what you make. There is no license tied to output.

The tools themselves remain our property. Nothing here grants a right to extract, decompile, reverse-engineer, or repackage a tool, its editor, or its runtime as a standalone product, as part of a competing tool, or separately from a work you created.

Acceptable use and security

You agree not to: probe, scan, or test the security of Astryke without permission; access it through automated means such as scrapers or bots except as we expressly allow; attempt to bypass plan limits, quotas, rate limits, or access controls; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; or use it to distribute malware or to violate the rights of others. We welcome good-faith security reports at [email protected].

Intellectual property

Astryke, including its software, tools, and all associated code, graphics, and documentation, is the property of Selfdefiant Studios. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of it. The Astryke and Selfdefiant Studios names and logos are trademarks of Selfdefiant Studios.

Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and expect the same. If you believe material on Astryke infringes a copyright you own or control, send a notice to our designated agent at [email protected] including: your contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the material you claim is infringing; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on its behalf; and your signature. We will remove or disable access to material subject to a valid notice and will, in appropriate cases, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address.

Active development

Astryke is in active development. Features, limits, and behavior may change as we improve them. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes, but except as stated under Locked founding pricing above, you should not rely on any particular feature or limit remaining unchanged.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Astryke is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any loss of data, content, or revenue arising from your use of it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance or updates at any time. You use Astryke at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your own exports of important work.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selfdefiant Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Astryke or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty or liability limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Selfdefiant Studios and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the content you create or store, your use of Astryke, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the account page, which removes everything in it and cancels any live subscription first. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend an account for violations of these Terms. Data associated with terminated accounts may be deleted after a reasonable retention period. Deleting your account does not remove copies you previously exported.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Astryke will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or account security.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Selfdefiant Studios regarding Astryke. We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
