Game UI
What it does

Browse a curated library of six-color palettes across game UI, pixel classics, sunset, ocean, neon, pastel, vintage, monochrome, and more. Click any palette to activate it. Edit individual swatches with a color picker. Or flip to the Generator tab, pick a base color and a harmony rule, and forge a fresh palette in one click. Copy hex, CSS variables, or JSON. Download a PNG strip.

Why it exists

Game projects accumulate ad-hoc colors fast. Browsing other people's palettes is great inspiration, but the round-trip from a browser tab to your code editor usually involves screenshots and eyedropper apps. Palette Forge cuts that loop to two clicks: pick, copy.

How to use
  1. 01Browse the Library tab. Pick a category in the sidebar (Game UI, Pixel Classics, Neon, Pastel, Vintage, etc). Click any palette card to load it into the big active strip at the top.
  2. 02Click any hex label in the active strip to copy that single color. Click the ✎ icon to open a color picker and edit that swatch in place.
  3. 03Flip to the Generator tab. Pick a base color and a harmony rule (complementary, triadic, analogous, tetradic, square, monochromatic, warm-shades, cool-shades). Click Generate or click any harmony preview card to load it.
  4. 04Hit Hex List, CSS, JSON, or Download PNG to export the full palette. Every export auto-snapshots a Recent thumbnail.
  5. 05Use Save Preset to name and keep a palette. The Saved strip shows them across visits.
