Title Forge
Free game title text generator with the works. Type, pick a font, stack effects, export a transparent PNG.
Type a title, pick a font from a curated set (epic serif, comic action, sci-fi, retro pixel, horror, western, gothic, more), stack fill (solid, linear gradient, radial gradient), stroke, drop shadow, and glow. Live preview at full resolution. Export a transparent PNG ready to drop into a splash screen, store page, or thumbnail.
Every game needs a title treatment, and FlamingText is twenty years old. Title Forge is what graphic designers reach for in five minutes, brought into the browser, with no signup and no watermark. All effects render on canvas, all output is yours.
- 01Start with a Preset to get a vibe in one click. Forge Default, Molten Gold, Neon, Comic Pow, Horror, Sci-Fi Cyan, Western, Pixel Retro.
- 02Type your title in the top field. Preview updates live.
- 03Pick a font from the Font section. Hover the list to see each typeface render its own name.
- 04Dial Fill, Stroke, Shadow, Glow. Toggle each effect on / off. Sliders update the canvas as you drag.
- 05Background defaults to transparent for sprite-style overlays. Switch to Solid for a color backdrop.
- 06Auto-fit canvas crops tight to the text + a padding ring. Switch to Manual for a fixed splash-screen size.
- 07Download PNG bakes the result at full canvas resolution. Copy PNG drops it on your clipboard.
- First visit fetches the Google Fonts stylesheet (light, cached). Subsequent visits render instantly.
- Big fonts plus big effects can push canvas size past 2000 px wide. Auto-fit handles it; manual sizes may clip if you go small.
- Nothing leaves your machine. All rendering happens on the canvas in your tab. The exported PNG is yours, no watermark.
Is Title Forge free, and does it add a watermark?
Yes, completely free. No account, no upload, no watermark on the export.
How do I make a game title or logo text online?
Type your title, pick a font from the curated set, then stack fill (solid or gradient), stroke, shadow, and glow until it reads right. Live preview at full resolution. Export as a transparent PNG ready for a splash screen, store page, or thumbnail.
Is this a FlamingText replacement?
Yes. FlamingText is twenty years old and shows it. Title Forge is the same idea — fancy text effects in the browser — built with modern canvas, modern fonts, and no signup. All effects render locally; you keep what you export.
What fonts are included?
20+ curated typefaces grouped by vibe: epic serif (Cinzel, Fraunces), comic action (Bangers, Bungee), sci-fi (Orbitron), retro pixel, horror, western (Rye), gothic, and more. Hover the font list to preview each typeface rendering its own name.
Can I export a transparent PNG?
Yes. Transparent background is the default — drop the result straight onto a splash screen or sprite. Switch to Solid if you want a color backdrop baked into the PNG.
What effects can I stack?
Fill (solid, linear gradient, radial gradient), stroke (width + color), drop shadow (offset, blur, color), and glow (blur + color + intensity). Each can be toggled independently. Presets give you a one-click starting point.
Can I use the titles in commercial games?
Yes. The PNGs you export are yours. Google Fonts in the curated set are all SIL Open Font License or similar — check the individual font's license if you bundle the .ttf into a game build instead of using the rendered PNG.
Where does my title go?
Nowhere. All rendering happens on the canvas in your browser tab. No upload, no server, no account.
