Trim Forge

Free online video trimmer. Set IN and OUT, export the clip in your browser. No watermark, no upload, no account.

What it does

Trim Forge is a free online video trimmer. Take any video, set an in-point and an out-point, and download the clip between them. No timeline editor, no extra effects, no fluff, just the cleanest possible way to cut a video down to size. Audio comes along by default and pitch stays correct.

Why it exists

Most "trim video online" pages on the open web slap a watermark on the output, cap your file size, force a signup, or send your footage through their server. None of that is necessary anymore. Trim Forge runs the whole job in your browser. Your footage never leaves your machine.

How to use
  1. 01Drop a video file (mp4, webm, mov), or click to pick one.
  2. 02Play the video. Pause where you want the trim to start, then click Set under IN.
  3. 03Continue playing. Pause where you want the trim to end, then click Set under OUT.
  4. 04Pick MP4 or WebM in the Format toggle. MP4 works on Safari and modern Chromium; WebM works everywhere including Firefox.
  5. 05Decide whether to keep the audio. Off makes a silent clip.
  6. 06Click Render. Wall-clock time is roughly the OUTPUT clip length.
  7. 07Download. Files save as <source>-trimmed.mp4 or .webm.
